The Connectivity API allows you to retrieve detailed information of a specified device, such as activation status. This allows you to troubleshoot any issue in which you need to ensure a SIM card is activated.


Note: The Connectivity API is included by default when you purchase an IoT Developer Kit.


With the Connectivity API you can

  • 1. Get details of your connectivity plan
  • 2. Troubleshoot activation status
  • 3. Retrieve device details from the T-Mobile network

To get started, you need:

  1. An active DevEdge account

    Create a DevEdge account, if you haven't already.
  2. A DevEdge IoT Developer KIt or SIM Starter Kit

    This API is only provided as a service with the purchase of a DevEdge IoT Developer Kit or a SIM Starter Kit.
  3. An active subscription for the Connectivity API

    Your subscription will be activated when you activate your IoT Dev Kit or SIM Starter Kit.
  4. Your API keys

    Get your API keys from the DevEdge dashboard. Instructions here.
