The DevEdge Device Status API allows developers to request real time status of devices, including network type, connectivity status, and roaming status.

To get started, you need:

An active DevEdge account

Create a DevEdge account if you haven’t already done so.
An active Device Status API subscription

Subscribe here if you don’t have an active subscription.
A registered application

Using Device Status

With the Device Status API, you can check whether or not your device is roaming in a given country, whether it is connected to 5G or not, or whether it is using SMS or data.

Roaming Status

Check whether or not the device is roaming, and in what country

Network Type

Check if your device is connected to 4G LTE or 5G NSA.

Connectivity Status

Verify whether your device is connected to the network via SMS or data usage.
